1. Who we are

hackonvibe.com is operated by Fiber LLC (Texas, United States of America), the organizer of HackOnVibe. For any question about your data, contact the hackathon organizer.

2. What we collect

When you register, we collect your full name, email address, country of residence, country of citizenship, year of birth, and any optional answers you choose to give. If you become an awardee and complete the winners' form, we additionally collect the photo and the contact links you choose to provide.

3. Why we use it

To run the hackathon, contact you about it, and publish its results — including a personal certificate page that lets your achievement be verified.

4. Publication & your consent

By submitting the registration form you consent to us publishing your full name on a personal certificate page on hackonvibe.com. If you become an awardee and complete the winners' form, you additionally consent to us publishing your photo and the contact links you provide (for example, on the hackathon results page).

These pages are public. They may be viewed, indexed by search engines, and downloaded from anywhere in the world — including countries whose data-protection laws differ from your own.

5. Lawful basis & record

We rely on your consent (GDPR Art. 6(1)(a)) for publication. We keep a record of the consent you give (the wording version and the time you agreed).

6. How long we keep it

We keep your data for as long as needed to run and document the hackathon and to keep issued certificates verifiable.

7. Your rights

Access — you do it yourself, no request needed. Sign in and open your account: Download my data gives you a file with everything we store about you — profile, application forms, teams, certificates and archived certificates, your public staff profile and staff account, your staff role and decisions on it, your presentations, the bug reports you sent, and your visits. Passwords and one-time links are never in it.

To correct or delete your data, or to withdraw your consent, contact the hackathon organizer — we will remove your record and your certificate page. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing already carried out before the withdrawal.

8. Prizes and Payouts

All hackathon prizes are provided and distributed directly by the hackathon Organizer. HackOnVibe acts solely as a platform for hosting the event and calculating results. We do not hold, manage, or distribute prize funds.
