What you'll walk away with
Every builder who takes part receives a verifiable Certificate of Participation. Winners earn a Diploma — an Award for Excellence in the Field of AI Product Engineering — and some of you also take home cash prizes.
Each certificate is a real PDF with a built-in hyperlink to your personal page for this hackathon, so anyone can open it and verify the achievement is genuine.

Before you start
1Create a Discord account
Sign up on Discord first. Registration asks for your Discord nickname as a required field, so you need a Discord account before you can register.
2Join our Discord server
Join the hackathon server — all communication happens here: team formation, mentor updates, reminders and support.
3Register on HackOnVibe
Fill in the registration form (your Discord nickname is required). This unlocks your team tools and personal page.
4Create or join a team
Build solo or with 1–4 people. Browse the matchmaking board to find teammates or start your own team.
5Know the challenge
This edition has one clear theme — build for it. See it below and aim your product at it.
6Add your GitHub
On your personal page, add your GitHub username. We use it to add you to your team's project repository — the place you push your build. Do this before Friday's kickoff so your access is ready.
7Accept your repo invite & push “Hello world!”
We create your team's GitHub repo and send you an invite. Open your GitHub inbox, accept it, then push a quick “Hello world!” — that checks the whole pipeline end-to-end (repo access → push → CI/CD → live). Do this before Friday's kickoff; the video shows exactly how.

Kickoff call
Live overview of the format and the general points (also on this page), on Google Meet. The session is recorded — the video is posted in our Discord so everyone can rewatch and catch up. Attend live to ask questions, or ask anytime in your edition's channel on Discord.

Publish to GitHub
Publish your team's project to GitHub by 9:00 PM MT on Sunday — the end of the day in your local time. This is the hard submission cutoff.
Questionnaire + 5-min preview
Fill in the questionnaire and prepare a 5-minute preview of your product with a video link (YouTube, a video on Google Docs, or another option — a link to the video is what matters) and send it to the organizers.

Eligibility & submission
Vibe coding is welcome. HackOnVibe is open to solo builders and teams of 1–4 people. You can use AI coding tools, no-code tools, templates, APIs, open-source libraries, and third-party services.
Who can join
- Vibe coders and first-time builders

What to submit
- A working product the judges can test themselves — a finished, realized implementation that brings real benefit; ideally something new, unique, and as autonomous from the user as possible
- A 5-minute video presentation of your product
- A completed questionnaire — you get it in our Discord
- Technical requirements are available in our Discord channel
- Build in the GitHub repository the hackathon issues you — and ask the organizers in advance to add your build there, so they can see the tech stack you plan to work on

Your first ship, not a pitch deck
HackOnVibe is for builders who want to stop postponing ideas. You do not need to build a company in 72 hours. You need a small everyday tool people can open, understand, try, and support. All hackathon communication, team formation, mentor updates, reminders, and support will happen in our Discord community.
The main challenge is to build an AI-assisted application for everyday use: individually, inside a small team, or for a small or medium-sized business.
Project focus
Build a practical product with clear technical implementation and a real business case. The project should solve a recurring problem and show how it can become useful for individuals, small teams, or small and medium-sized businesses.
Technical implementation
Show a working product flow, core architecture, integrations, data inputs and outputs, and what was built during the hackathon.
AI functionality
Use AI meaningfully inside the product or workflow. Explain what AI does, why it matters, and how it improves the user experience.
Problem and users
Define the recurring problem, target users, use case, and why the product would be used regularly.
Business model
Describe customer segments, pricing, monetization, competitors or alternatives, and the path to first paying users.
Go-to-market
Explain how you would attract early customers, test demand, collect feedback, and continue after the hackathon.
Product presentation
Prepare a clear demo and pitch that explain the product, functionality, technical choices, business logic, and next steps.
